Hội Đồng Trung Ương - Hướng Đạo Việt Nam (HĐTƯ-HĐVN) has a mission and it is clear: to preserve and promote the Vietnamese tradition, kinship and cultural heritage through scouting. For more than 85 years, we have brought the definition of scouting at the world-class level through culture, adventure, friendship and fun to hundreds of thousands youths. Enabling Vietnamese youths to engage in safe, youth-led, cultural and adventurous programs in hundreds of communities across the world have always been our goal and method.

Since the establishment of HĐTƯ-HĐVN, the leadership team and its supporting staffs have been and will always be volunteers. We strongly believe that our ultimate reward is being able to provide to more youths a lifetime experience, that they cannot find elsewhere. An experience where they have an opportunity to learn, discover and have fun through scouting values and activities.
